Casperkill Women's
Basketball
League plays on Thursday nights at Casperkill.
Start times vary from 5:30 to 9:30. Year round play, divided into three
seasons. Games consist of 20 minute halves, running time. Two officials
per game. All skill levels and ages welcome. This league thrives on
friendly competition in a laid back atmosphere. You can join this
league as a team or as an individual. For

Gold's Gym Women's
Basketball
Noncompetitive league - Monday nights, 6-8pm. Recreational atmosphere
with a mix of ability levels. For

Competitive league - played during the summer. Games were
generally
Friday nights, with some variation. This league is for the in-shape
athlete with at least varsity basketball experience. Many players had
college experience. Games consisted of 20 minute halves, running time.

Hoops
for Hope Basketball Tournament
3rd Annual 3 on 3
Women's Basketball
Tournament held in March at the McCann
Recreation Center at Marist College in Poughkeepsie,
N.Y.
This is a fundraising effort for the Miles of Hope Breast Cancer
Foundation. Since its inception in 2003 the Foundation has raised
over $1,000,000 for women and families affected by breast cancer
living in the eight counties of the Hudson Valley. This is a tournament
for all ability levels (several divisions are offered). It is a day of
fun, comraderie, and good will! For more

Red Hook Women's
Basketball
Wednesday nights at Linden Ave. Middle School, Red Hook, 7:30-9:30.
September-June (school year). This is a pick-up league without set
teams. Each week, teams are created with players in attendance with an
effort to evenly divide skill, speed, and height. There are no
officials. It is a very laid back atmostphere where all ages and skill
